Tofu Chocolate Mousse

A high protein chocolate mousse??? Yea, that’s right…

Serves: 6-8


  • 1 block of extra-firm tofu, drained and dry
  • 2 ½ scoops of chocolate protein powder
  • ¾ cup coconut milk, split
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips
  • Sugar/Sweetener as needed (depending on protein)
  • ¼ cup chocolate syrup (sugar free if you got it)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tbs vanilla extract
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • Optional: zest of 1 orange


  • In a bowl, melt the chocolate in ½ cup coconut milk
  • In a blender, add all ingredients and melted chocolate
  • Blend for 3-5 minutes or until super creamy

Chef’s tips:

  • Don’t add all the coconut milk at once, you cal always add more depending on texture
  • If you use a really chocolatey protein powder, use ¼ cup cocoa powder and adjust to taste
  • You can flavor this with anything, including rum, orange, or mint!
